I meant to cover this a couple of weeks ago as Satin has been part of the Sunday playlist ever since. Thinking outside of the four/ four time signature this engaging production suggests alternative arrangements with sounds pulsating across the expanse. It all forms a curious, creatively exciting landscape of moods and atmospheres as electric keys punctuate the rolling rhythms amid playful, almost minimalist, and mindfully refreshing repetitions.
