Lovely production on this piece of music by Joseph Crime. That’s the first thing to say as each layer of intention is revealed so each heartstring is pulled. I like the way an imaginative array of sounds are employed across the spectrum too gathering a diverse selection of influences on the way, from the punctuating percussion to the ethereal piano to hint of eastern mysticism, along with the faint echo of human voice.
This excellent production by Paul Losev pulls at the heart strings just as much as it feels robust and uplifting. A breathless combination of blissful pads, deeply gorgeous bass and melodic enquiry all point skyward, while searching inward. Only the one version is required as this timely instrumental says it all.

Nostalgia suggests the feeling of loss for a bygone occasion, however the music created by Nick Newman supplants that void by filling the senses full of life enhancing sound. While unmistakably tinged with the brush of melancholy the echo of this wonderfully produced number defiantly fires up a roller-coaster of emotions, exciting the neural pathways via its rush of orchestral harmony fed with the reassurance of immersive strings alongside the chime of electrical impulse. An Ambient Mix then extends the theme further reaching equally heavenly heights.

The three things striking you most about this great production from Hansgod are its fiery percussion (all praise the handclap), throbbing robust bass followed by the devilish, filtered intensity underpinning it. All of which forms a series of play it louder moments in breathless sequence. The icing is the ethereal voice drifting into view over the sumptuous rhythm section just before mid-point, accompanied by a wealth of warm instrumentation igniting emotion and electrical connection. Just the one mix but that is clearly all that’s required at this juncture.
