Within seconds you get the feeling that something is going on here. It’s down to that rough and tumble bassline plus shuffling yet gritty drums, all of which are offset by a hauntingly beautiful pulse of emotive keys. Then the hi-hat hits. Then differing textures makes their presence fully felt across the brilliant title track. Followed by the modular excess of Whats It All About which gets deeper, more introspective in amongst its wash of ambience and rolling, shapeshifting atmosphere’s, while proving to be another striking piece of music from Fletcher.
