Heralding the digital release of this impressive track with its accompanying thumping tribal beats and general all round sassy percussion Calm Before The Storm sounds very much like the standout instrumental it always deserved to be. Its haunting string lines and resounding background pads fill the spaces between the drums to full effect providing music that is both atmospheric, sonically charged and soulfully informed. Next, is Roman Rauch’s raunchy remix of Still Daydreaming which combines invigorating bass with a rigorous workout in funky engineering. Leaving title track Exhausted to again explore tribal rhythms this time round teasing you with a building sense of anticipation and again resulting in powerful, evocative music.
