How can I put this? Take 2 Go is funky to the point of being almost beyond belief. If the sole function of dance music is to make you dance, then here it is. I want to use the word liquid to describe the rapid and divergent undulations feeling like a riot going on here, or perhaps brutal is more apt. It’s all down to the interplay between the drums and bass of course, with touches of voice adding colour plus the odd splash of sound effects exploding bubbles. Freak, is slightly less frantic, though no less impactful, employing an array of spoken vocals rushing alongside more vigorous, rigours grooves from the hot Brazilian producer.
