This rather wonderful piece of music co-written with Batata Boy feels like a meditation on intimacy and human closeness. I love its uncomplicated yet carefully crafted instrumentation, drifting along without unnecessary fuss. Warm keys, crisp hi-hats and gorgeous strings combine to elevate the soul, while Bruno Berle’s voice dances at the edge of a whisper, touching each note with remarkable grace. If this sounds like your kind of thing, the forthcoming album Sem Fronteiras should be well worth your attention.
