Any reason is a good one to revisit this release from a couple of months ago, ostensibly because it now appears on CD for a limited time – perhaps so limited that it has already gone? Downloading is always available. Anyhow, there is a world of sound to immerse yourself in here, as this fruitful collaboration is packed to the brim with ideas, imagination, and sincere inquiry, like surfing the information superhighway, fully charged by cause and effect.
Whether drums beat, voices call over fuzzy airwaves, or synthesisers drone and hum like no tomorrow, all the music is served with a tantalising intensity that is hard to escape. Not that you want to, of course, as mystery and the excitement of never knowing what might occur next are the hidden thrills within Geins’t Nait + LØ + Scanner’s thrilling combination of searing notes and wild reflections. It’s part industrial, part physical landscaping, part atmosphere free-formation; it’s part lots of things that all add up to your dedicated attention.
