Hidden in that moment when the need to turn up the volume consumes you is the realisation that what you are listening to is valuable and worth the act. It’s found in the open spaces opening out this resplendent production blurring colours between dub and techno, tribal and minimal, so lyrically. Pausing only for breath as Takata brilliantly does to allow the bassline to shine even more powerfully alongside the track’s crisp array of drums plus grainy, tense yet deeply satisfying series of smoldering musical notes and voices.
