You could say Buckle Up is genius, or ingenious. It delivers a twisted, crazed narrative of slinky beats, enhanced stereophonic repertoire, alongside the kind of sleazily intended music that gets pulses racing. n808 & Mike Kerrigan’s creation is tempting and deeply satisfying, as its restraint is balanced by a dark, edgy intensity that remains playful and forward-thinking at all times.
Complimented by the Chicago-influenced, bass-driven House sound of Stuck To The Floor, the mood is set by the drums and bass as Marieme’s vocals haunt the intention perfectly. Both are excellent.
