‘Doctor’ Giles Allen and Mark ‘Blackie’ Blackburn aka Tracks Haven deliver the kind of rough and tumble we could all do with a lot more of. Can I Have A Moment combines soulful piano together with New York City vocalist C-JAY and the results redefine the excitement of that genre. The production tingles with anticipation as grainy, distorted drums compliment the smoother elements of the life-affirming instrumentation, and all the while you are drawn into the epic possibilities the music offers. This is brutal yet beautifully emotional. And excellent.
