Greg Fenton reviews Sasha – Hollow Sun – Last Night On Earth
Sounding like every expectation of nights out across the decades, this latest production from Sasha doesn’t so much reignite the past as redefine it. You can’t help but feel the pride of history running through Hollow Sun25, conveyed through its swirling pads, flashes of Acid, pulsating keyboard stabs and gated vocals, as if youth were an ever-ending option. Above all, it remains faithful to the spirit of those classic sounds while preserving the emotions that made them timeless.
Hollow Sun24 intensifies that rush with bolder synths, rolling drums and a signature breakdown that demands surrender. Time to get lost in the persuasion of life-affirming moments.
