You could say this record is all about the warmth of compassion. It also feels like sunshine rays or a night out dancing as it’s very much about rhythm, hot or otherwise. Resolutely musical, defiantly soulful but either way this likewise plays simply for the pleasure of it all. Rituals explores a fusion of styles interpreted by a number of remixes. From the party flair of the Trinidadian Deep Mix to Fred P’s inevitably sumptuous Reshape, or the cool original, all souls are touched upon. Watch out for the more rugged number, Primal Fear too with its tougher drums and edgy, suggestive mood.
